TR Caps™ markets time release nutritional supplements in pellets. The pellets are made in pharmaceutical approved facilities and utilize advanced Swiss technology.
TATA Advantages of time release pellets:
| TIME: Longer benefits |
| The TR Caps™ product disintegrates slowly as it passes through the gastro intestinal tract. Apart from formulations that are immediately absorbed or are absorbed at specific sites, the time release mechanism slows the rate of release of the ingredient providing for better absorption. In order to obtain a time release product, the active ingredients need to be surrounded by a membrane. This action is depicted in the diagram below, as the membrane protects the active ingredient throughout the disintegration period, which for most time release formulations is between 4 and 24 hours. |

| ACTIVITY: Pop less pills |
| Conventional dosage forms are not able to control the target area of administration and are released immediately. This necessitates frequent administration in order to maintain an effective level. As a result, the ingredient's concentration widely fluctuates as it can be initially high and then quickly fall (refer to immediate release diagram below). In contrast, time release dosage forms are not only able to maintain effective levels with smooth release rates, but also require less dosing (refer to time release diagram below). |

| TYPE: Better product |
| Multiple-unit dosage forms disintegrate into several sub-units after ingestion. Single-unit dosage forms primarily tablets can generate adverse effects such as a sour stomach or gastric irritation due to their inability to disintegrate into small particles after ingestion. When a product is transported as a single unit, instead of many sub-units, the lack of distribution within the GI tract can yield adverse effects as the ingredients are released in one specific area. |
